DMTCL arranges special awareness show on metro rail

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL), the operating organisation for Metrorail in Dhaka, has arranged a special awareness show for the general people to inform various aspects of Metrorail.

DMTCL will arrange the program three times a day, from Monday to Saturday. Visitors will be able to watch the program the first show at 10.20 am, the second show at 12.00 o’clock and the third show at 3.00 pm. Sunday will be the off day for the show. DMTCL authority will show various videos regarding metro rail, animated cartoons, usage method of automatic ticket vending machine, manual ticket collection process, metro train mock-up, automatic mini metro train, the smart card-based automatic entry and exit gate, display board, videos on the memorial monument built in memory of 7 Japanese citizens in Holy Artisan incident etc.

Visitors can watch the shows at Metro Rail Display and Information Centre, Diabari, Uttara, Dhaka.

To watch each show, the visitors must collect tickets costing 10.00 Taka per head. But respected heroic Freedom Fighters, Persons with Special Physical Needs and Students with valid Identity cards can watch the show free of charge.
